Laffing Matterz at the Broward Center ties dinner and theatre together with a 3 hour mix of food and fun. The first half of the night is dinner time, and the second half you'll be watching original skits by the cast of Laffing Matterz.
If you're wondering what to expect, Laffing Matterz describes their work as "'Saturday Night Live'  with 90% musical spoofs". The shows frequently relate to pop culture, current events, relationships and social situations. 
Tickets are $63 to $68 and can be purchased through the Broward Center. With the purchase of your Laffing Matterz ticket, you will receive a house salad, sourdough bread and your choice of an entree. 
Entrees include Vegetarian Ravioli, Tenderloin of Beef, Crabmeat Stuffed Shrimp, Dijon Terragon Chicken and Chilean Sea Bass. View the menu here.

Appetizers are not included with your theatre ticket, although you may purchase them while you're enjoying the show. Appetizers range from $6 to $10, and you can munch on shrimp cocktail, stuffed portobello mushrooms, Caribbean crab cakes, escargots, Asian BBQ beef satay or the soup of the day. If you want a glass of wine, the menu includes glasses of Beringer, Yellow Tail and Hob Nob for about $8 each. You can ask for a wine list if you would like to buy a bottle. 

Desserts and after-dinner drinks are also available for a charge. Sweeten your mouth with cheesecake, sorbet with fresh berries, key lime pie or mini cream puffs. Wash it down with Bailey's Irish Cream, Kahlua, Grand Marnier or cognac.    Menu prices include tax, and an 18% gratuity charge will be added to each dinner bill.
